Brandy's Marriage A Hoax?
More Brandy gossip, only this time it comes from Robert Smith, her ex-husband. Or was he? Speaking on Wendy Williams' radio show Monday (July 19), Smith said that the couple was never married, and that he's expecting a baby with a woman he was seeing throughout the time he was "married" to Brandy. Smith didn't argue when Williams called Brandy his "jump-off." Back in 2003, the "couple" famously appeared on an MTV special talking about their tough decision to wed after Brandy became pregnant, and Brandy also made a tearjerking appearance on Oprah discussing the same situation. On Williams' show, however, Smith said the huge ring on Brandy's finger was a prop and the whole marriage was a fabrication. No official comment has emerged from Brandy's camp yet.
