R&B Singer Houston Attempts Suicide

In London, R&B crooner Houston gouged his own eye out after a thwarted suicide attempt, MTV.com reported. The singer tried to throw himself over his hotel balcony, but security personnel intervened and prevented the jump. Later, the singer locked himself in a room and inflicted the wound to his eye, according to reports. Stay tuned for more on this story as it develops.
