Em Drops Lawsuit Against The Source

One of hip hop's longest-running beefs resurfaced in the headlines yesterday as Eminem announced he was dropping his copyright infringement lawsuit against hip hop magazine The Source. In late 2003, Source head honchos Benzino and Dave Mays held a press conference to play an old Eminem demo tape where the rapper made what the magazine deemed to be derogatory comments about African American women. Later, the magazine wanted to release the tracks on a CD attached to its Feb. 2004 issue, but Eminem's legal team intervened.
