Big Pun's Medallion on the Auction Block

The rapper's yellow gold and diamond Terror Squad medallion is on the auction block on eBay. According to the posting, the medallion is being auctioned off on behalf of Big Pun's family and the money obtained from the highest bidder will go to Big Pun's wife and three children. Bidding for the medallion, which Pun reportedly paid over $100,000 to have made, reached $12,100 by late Wednesday afternoon. The medallion itself is yellow gold, dipped in white gold and weighs roughly 598 grams, featuring around 1,728 baguette diamonds and around 173 round diamonds. The winner of the auction - who must be pre-approved before bidding - will fly to New York to receive the medallion personally from Liza Rios. "By bidding on this piece of Hip Hop history," the post reads, "you are helping the family of a Rap legend, part of the funds will also go towards legal efforts to retrieve any unpaid album sale money the children could receive."
