After it was announced that the jury in the Michael Jackson trial found the singer not guilty on all counts, the jurors who helped keep him a free man spoke out on why they made that decision. Some jurors explained that they didn’t initially believe Jackson was not guilty, but found themselves eventually convinced that there wasn’t strong enough evidence to convict him, according to The Associated Press. “That’s not to say he’s an innocent man, Juror Raymond Hultman told the AP. “He’s just not guilty of the crimes he’s been charged with.” Some jurors noted that they were dismayed at the accuser’s mother’s attitude in court, as she stared at them and snapped her fingers at them during her testimony. Other jurors also noted that they had an easier time deciding on a verdict when they began to think of Jackson as a normal person, not the King of Pop.
