Al Sharpton Gets His Own TV Show

He has signed with TV One to host a talk and interview series called "Cuttin' Up With Al Sharpton," which will "take place in those havens of African American culture where no topic is off limits - barbershops," according to the Television Business Report. Sharpton will moderate and talk with his guests about politics, current events, sports and social issues. The show is slated to premiere in November 2006.
