Tantrum Avoided as Kanye Wins at MTV VMAs

A purple-clad, cigar-toting Kanye West had no need to throw a tantrum at this awards show - the rapper took home a Moonman for "Best Male Video" for "Jesus Walks," beating artists like 50 Cent, Usher and John Legend for the honor.

Dressed in white pants and a boho-chic white top, Missy Elliott - along with a micro mini-dress-clad Ciara - accepted awards for "Best Hip Hop Video" and "Best Dance Video" for "Lose Control."

Other winners included Ludacris, who won "Best Rap Video" for "Number One Spot," Alicia Keys who earned the "Best R&B Video" award for "Karma," and Gorillaz who nabbed "Breakthrough Video" for "Feel Good Inc."
