Following the Anger Management show in Madison Square Garden on August 8, Young Buck (ne’ David Brown) and Lloyd Banks (ne’ Christopher Lloyd) were arrested along with 11 other men for gun possession. According to MTV news, a spokesperson for the NYPD said the 13 men were traveling in a van when their vehicle was pulled over at 41st Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan for allegedly running a red light. Police found two guns, a .357 and a loaded .40 caliber. If the G-Unit fixtures aren’t released in time for tonight’s show, it’ll be interesting to see how 50 Cent’s last New York performance on the Anger Management tour flies without his tag-team- Banks and Buck. The August 8 show consisted of 50 sharing performance time with the jailed platinum artists. Tony Yayo, Olivia, M.O.P., and the infamous Mobb Deep shared the stage, but it remains to be seen if any of them can carry a crowded Madison Square Garden. Other acts featured on the Anger Management roster are Lil Jon, Lil’ Scrappy, Pitbull, Obie Trice, Stat Quo, Proof, D12 and Eminem. The tour’s next stop is August 10 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA. Read more vibe.com news headlines.
