Damon Dash Sells Stake in Rocawear
Damon Dash has sold his 25 percent stake in Rocawear for a reported $30 million. According to the New York Post insiders say Jay-Z, now president of Def Jam, initiated the split because he felt Dash was using him to get publicity and not pulling his weight. But Dash told WWD that Rocawear is simply no longer reflective of who he is.
left Dash is now focusing on his wife Rachel Roy's contemporary line, the Damon Dash menswear line, the State Property sportswear line and Team Roc, a collection of athletic clothing. He is also reportedly still working with Tiret watch company and the Damon Dash music label.
