New Music from David Banner, Miri Ben-Ari in Stores This Week

Banner's new disc, led by the raunchy, sweaty single, "Play," features guest appearances by artists including Talib Kweli, and production from the likes of Jazze Pha and Lil Jon.

Miri Ben-Ari, the violinist who played all the strings on Kanye West's The College Dropout, and has worked with big names like Wyclef and Jay-Z, gets a little help from her friends on her album, The Hip Hop Violinist. West, Fabolous, Musiq, Scarface, John Legend, Consequence and Styles P. are among the artists that make guest appearances on the album.

right Meanwhile, stars show their love for the late Luther Vandross this week, covering his songs for So Amazing: An All-Star Tribute to Luther Vandross. Mary J Blige sings "Never Too Much," while Usher does a rendition of "Superstar." Jamie Foxx, whose got his own album now, covers "Creepin," while Wyclef tries out "Always & Forever."

Nine years after Tupac's passing, stars are uniting for The Rose, Vol. 2, an album of music inspired by the rapper's poetry. Ludacris, Memphis Bleek, Kweli and more appear on the album to pay homage to the late rapper.
