The company has joined with RockCorps, an organization that introduces volunteerism to teens and young adults, to form Boost Mobile RockCorps, a program that aims to motivate young people throughout the U.S. to get involved and connect with their community. The program launched in June 25 and worked with communities in Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. throughout the summer.

right As a reward for their dedication, the program is staging a free concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 24 for its 5,000 volunteers who contributed four hours of volunteer service at one of the 75 projects. The concert will feature T.I., Fat Joe, Young Jeezy, Paul Wall and Slim Thug, and will be hosted by Lil' Jon.

This month, Boost Mobile RockCorps is taking on volunteers in New York for a series of new projects, called "We Got Your Back," which will also give new volunteers the chance to earn a ticket to the upcoming show. Project sites will be set up in each of the five boroughs as drop off points for youth who want to provide a backpack filled with school supplies to fellow students who were displaced from their homes as a result of Hurricane Katrina, and enrolling in schools in Texas.
