Hairstylists to Compete at Runway Show

Hairstylists will get a chance to show off their shear abilities at at Hairisma, the 13th Annual Golden Scissors professional hair stylists' competition on November 6.
Stylists - who stray far from the run-of-the-mill braids, bob, or up-do - will compete for a $10,000 grand prize provided by Milky Way 100% human hair products at the annual event, which features a runway show. Taking place at the Washington D.C. Convention Center, the event is set to feature Oscar James who has styled the tresses of Vanessa Williams, Tyra Banks and Iman, and HairCare Educator Barry Fletcher, who has styled Tina Turner and Halle Berry.
