Destiny's Child's #1's Album Tops Billboard Chart

right The collection, which includes 16 tracks like "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Say My Name," "Independent Women Part 1" and "Bootylicious," sold 113,000 copies to nab the No. 1 spot, knocking pop princess Ashlee Simpson off her pedestal. It also marks the second time the trio has had a No. 1 album. In 2001, Survivor debuted at the top of the chart with 663,000 copies sold in its first week. It has since sold 4.3 million, according to Billboard.com.

In other chart news, The Black Eyed Peas' Monkey Business bounced back from No. 8 to No. 5 with 80,000 copies sold, and Kanye West's Late Registration jumped from No. 10 to No. 8.
