right Eric Jerome Dickey, whose Thieves' Paradise, The Other Woman, and Genevieve were New York Times bestsellers, has signed on to create a six-issue limited series of Storm, which centers on the X-Men heroine.

With the first issue set to launch in February 2006 to coincide with Black History Month, the series will tell the untold love story of the most popular African American Super Heroes Ororo (aka Storm) and T'Challa (aka The Black Panther) who was the world's first African American Super Hero.

The series will tell the story of their romance against the backdrop of Africa's plains and will follow how the African Prince T'Challa crosses paths with Ororo who, at the time, is an orphaned street urchin whose powers have yet to develop. Romance develops as the pair work together to fight a mutual foe.
