It's been a hell of a year for Michael Jackson. After being acquitted of child molestation charges in June, he went to the Middle East, splitting his time between Bahrain and Dubai with Rowe's children, Paris and Prince Michael, and his youngest son, Prince Michael II. He has been quoted as saying he won't return to the U.S.
Since that time, the Anti-Defamation League demanded his apology after ABC aired what was said to be a telephone answering-machine message in which the pop star referred to Jews as "leeches."
left The star also faces loss of his 50% stake in The Beatles' back catalogue if he fails to meet a loan repayment deadline.
According to NME.com, prosecution testimony heard during his child molestation trial earlier in the year, cited that Jackson has borrowed heavily against his assets. And his lawyers are in talks to prevent him defaulting on loans secured by his share in the songs.
In latest news, his ex-wife has filed legal papers accusing Jackson of abducting their two children. Earlier this week, Rowe, who was married to Jackson from 1996 - 1999, has asked a judge to order him to return the children to the US. She aims to seek sole custody of their children.
According to the New York Daily News, Rowe gave up her parental rights in 2001, but changed her mind after Jackson was charged with child molestation in 2003.
