Twista Recovering After Hit-And-Run Accident

right The artist was driving his Dodge Charger along Interstate 57 when his car was struck from behind, according to reports. Twista then pulled into the emergency lane, followed by the car that hit him, but when Twista began to get out of his car, the other driver sped away. The rapper got back in his car and drove himself home.

"I want to thank all of my fans and supporters for checking in on my health," he said in a statement given later that day. "I was the victim of a hit and run car accident this morning but I am home resting comfortably as per the guidance of my doctor. The grind does not stop, as I will shortly be back in front of my fans, giving them the energetic performances they have come to expect from me."
