Mexican pop group RBD, which followed closely behind Daddy Yankee with nine nominations, will battle the reggaetón superstar for Top Latin Albums Artist. Shakira is right on RBD's heels, with eight nominations for her single "La Tortura," and her album, Fijación Oral, Vol. 1. Frankie J., who is up for multiple awards as well, will take Shakira on for Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Duet or Collaboration.
The awards show will be broadcast live on Telemundo on April 27.
