left “The name Henchmen has been with me since the beginning of my career, it’s a shame people made literal connotations to the name and let it take on its own life," says Rosemond, CEO of Czar Entertainment, home to Brandy and The Game. “I have gone through an evolution since I started my career; Czar Entertainment is one of the top management firms in the nation and as my company continues to grow, I do as well. “I feel this is an appropriate time to make the change and begin using my surname, Jimmy Rosemond.” Now going by his government name, Rosemond has the taken the time to involve himself in several charitable endeavors, including spending time with the underprivileged and providing them with motivational speaking and mentoring. Rosemond and Wyclef Jean recently were in Haiti, where they visited underprivileged children from the L'Athletique d'Haiti soccer program and donated 200 pairs of sneakers and soccer balls. A Hatian-American himself, Rosemond, also met with government officials in Haiti to discuss how to improve some of the country’s deplorable conditions. Rosemond, who was a key component in the early success of The Notorious B.I.G., Wyclef, Lauryn Hill and Memphis Bleek will also be making a visit to Rikers Island on Tuesday, March 14 at 12 p.m. He will be accompanied by members of The Lox and Jim Jones - who will all be performing. Currently Rosemond works closely with artists like The Game, Brandy, Mario Winans, Guerilla Black, Smitty and Sheek Louch.
