Patti LaBelle Suffers On-Stage Breakdown in Florida

According to various news wire service reports, the legendary diva and American icon sat down at one point and began crying onstage. left The Grammy-winning LaBelle proceeded to explain to the crowd how she’s nearly 62-years-old, and suffering from diabetes and a heart murmur. She went on to express how the cold weather didn’t agree with her. LaBelle, who gave fans hits like, “Goin’ On a Holiday” and “If Only You Knew,” told the crowd that she’s never been that embarrassed in her life and Saturday night was the worst show she ever done. Although she wasn’t feeling her best, LaBelle struggled through, but completed classics like, “Lady Marmalade,” “On My Own” and was on stage for 45 minutes before making an exit.
