Prince Debuts at No. 1, B.G. No. 6 on Billboard 200

That’s because the enigmatic artist notched his first career No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200 this week for his new album, 3121. left Prince’s new compilation moved 183,000 units in the United States. 3121 joins Prince’s Batman (1989), Around the World in a Day (1985) and the legendary Purple Rain as his No. 1 albums. Former Cash Money soldier B.G.’s album, The Heart of Tha Streetz, Vol. 2: I Am What I Am, debuts at No. 6 on The Billboard 200. B.G.’s No. 6 album ranking is his best in six years. The compilation, which features Mannie Fresh on the production boards, sold 62,000 copies.
