Shawnna Preps Second Album, Gave up Golddigger Beat

right Disturbing Tha Peace’s first lady, Shawnna, is ready to drop her second album, Chicago, in June.

Shawnna, a Chi-town native, has been creating a buzz for herself with her raunchy single, "Gettin' Some".

Last week on New York City Hot 97's Angie Martinez's show, Shawnna went down the line of Chi-town artists to explain how the Windy City has its own little movement brewing. She also shared that she passed up on the "Golddigger" beat that Kanye West used to propel his own career even further. Shawnna said when she first heard the beat there was no Jamie Foxx on the hook.

The exact release date of Chicago has yet to be given as of press time.
