T.I. Gives King a First Listen

So, T.I. invited select members of the online press to Atlantic Records' NY offices on Thursday evening for the listening session of his new album, King. left Among the album's highlights are, "Front Back" featuring UGK, which is a re-make of UGK's classic, "Front Back & Side to Side." The cut is also special because it was the first song recorded by UGK member Pimp C after he was released from prison. In addition, Pimp C appears on a skit on the album, where he essentially co-signs on T.I. as the "King of The South". T.I. also performs well over the triumphant Just Blaze-produced, "King Back," where he explains why hip hop's throne is his. King, which features UGK, Jamie Foxx, BG, Young Jeezy, Young Buck, Pharrell, P$C and Common, is slated for a March 28 release. His debut movie, ATL, hits theaters days later on March 31.
