Wayans Brothers Show Nickelodeon The Thug Life

right The made-for-tv special puts a comical twist on inner city living, depicting the trials of nine street kids as they foray into love, friendship, and the lessons learned through a series of misadventures.

Themed around the sometimes grand, sometimes shell-shocking, but always cardinal events of growing up, the hour-long August premiere tackles back-to-school, while the second episode takes on a Christmas motif. Details of the third episode have not yet been released.

“Thugaboo” marks the Wayans’ first totalizing leap into animation as writers, producers, and voice over artists.

Also lending voices to the project are Michael Rapaport, Tracy Morgan, David Allan Grier, and Kim Wayans.
