Lauryn Hill and J. Period Rock Stage in South Africa
left L-Boogie performed classics like “Doo Wop,” “Ex-Factor” and “Zion,” and then rocked out live to J. Period remixes of Fugees hits like “How Many Mics,” “Ready or Not,” and “Fu-Gee-La” in front of a capacity crowd of 15,000.
J. Period and Hill were accompanied by a 6-piece band, which included legendary Living Color drummer Will Calhoun.
The Annual Redds Diva Concert celebrates female artistry, both on a local and international scope, and helps aid three South African organizations that provide shelter and counseling for abused women.
