Although Simmons acknowledged to the New York Daily News on Monday that he is indeed spending time with Denise Vasi, a 23-year-old Dominican hip hop video girl, he insisted that he and Kimora are best friends that they will continue to raise their children together. Simmons even disclosed that he will be producing Kimora’s impending reality show. Simmons went as far as to say he would approve of Kimora seeing another guy on two conditions: “He’d be sweet to Kimora,” and “He’d better love my children.” Although Simmons mentioned that he and Kimora have reached points in their lives where they have different aspirations, he says if they continue with their separation, money will not ever become an issue. "We’re partners in everything,” Russell told the Daily News. “There’s no money discussion with us. We’re not going to have any fights over money. We’re just not.” This Saturday (April 8) Russell and Kimora will be present at the Mar-a-Lago in support of a Palm Beach fund-raiser for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, which will be co-hosted by Donald and Melania Trump.
