Now, 50 wants to make sure everything is on point for G-Unit’s lyrical
Boy Wonder Lloyd Banks’ sophomore album release,
The Rotten Apple, which is tentatively due in stores July 18.
Banks, who recently turned 24-years-old, has already released his
Timbaland-produced lead single, “My House,” which is beginning to make the rounds on New York City radio.
In related G-Unit news, the famous crew has a new member-
Hot Rod, an MC from Phoenix.
50 introduced Hot Rod as the newest member of G-Unit a couple of weeks ago in Miami for a
Radio One weekend concert, as reported by
MTV News.
right Although Hot Rod is new to G-Unit, he’s already flexing the kind of musical muscle 50 is used to. That’s because Hot Rod’s album will tentatively feature a collaboration with none other than
The Queen of Hip Hop Soul,
Mary J. Blige.
A release date for Hot Rod’s album hasn’t been announced as of press time.
