On Monday afternoon (May 15) Scratch told Vibe.com that’s there’s more “New York Sh*t” on its way. Scratch revealed that he’s working on four remixes of “New York Sh*t.” Although the veteran DJ didn’t reveal the artists that are going to appear on the remixes he did promise “heavyweight MCs” will be spitting on the tracks. right “All four remixes are heavyweight,” says Scratch. “Some of them (heavyweight MCs) are hard; not as in hard to talk anyone into it, but hard as far as getting in contact with a few people. But usually when it’s a hit record, people offer, they call and want to get on your sh*t.” Scratch is hoping to release his remixes after Busta completes the shoot for his “New York Sh*t” video. Scratch also said that he produced a track entitled “Bounce Back,” which he hopes makes Diddy’s new album. “It’s a club banger. Busta Rhymes wrote it and he’s on the hook as well,” says Scratch. “I came on that project because I just happened to be in the studio. So, it’s not 100 percent definite that it’s going to be on the album right now, but if he (Diddy) doesn’t use it, Busta will.” Scratch is also busy in the lab producing for the likes of Papoose, Maino and the Game. In related news, Scratch is prepping his own Scratch-umentary DVD, which celebrates his 20+ years in hip hop, for a Fall/Winter release. The Scratch-umentary features footage of Scratch cutting for the likes of EPMD and Jay-Z. Scratch will be on tour until July 5.
