Jamie Kennedy Wants to Rap
Well, now Kennedy is taking on the role of a rapper, except he’s not playing this time.
Kennedy will debut his new MTV series, Jamie Kennedy’s Blowin’ Up, at 10:30 EST tonight (May 16). On the series, MTV will document Kennedy’s journey, as he attempts to break into the hip hop market as an MC. Kennedy is also scheduled to release a new recorded song via iTunes after each episode.
right “The whole reason to do the show is to do the album,” Kennedy told the New York Daily News. “People are either going to really accept this, and think we’re really creative, or they’re going to think we’re the biggest idiots ever.”
An advance clip previewing tonight’s debut episode shows Kennedy and his friend Stu Stone pitching the idea of him being a rapper to agents.
