Koch Records Partners With Damon Dash

Dash, Jay-Z's former business partner, is prepping to release the first album under his new partnership. Reggae artist Sizzla’s summer release, The Overstanding, is inspired by the movie Shadow Boxer. right In related news, Koch has also inked a deal with Kedar Massenburg of Kedar Entertainment. The former CEO of Motown/Universal is credited with being a pioneer of the neo-soul genre and has signed and managed artists like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and India.Aire. On June 6, Koch Records and the Terror Squad will release Miami-based DJ Khaled’s highly-anticipated Listennn…The Album. “We are all very excited about these deals with such talented partners and are looking forward to long, fruitful and profitable partnerships," Koch President Bob Frank said in a recent press release.
