A 2Pac Tribute: Dare 2 Struggle will feature guest appearances of incarcerated rappers rhyming alongside the likes of the
Outlawz, and Tupac's siblings
Nzingha and
Mopreme. Half the compilation’s proceeds will be used towards Mutulu Shakur’s inner city health and education initiatives.
The project will be released by
KENT Entertainment’s rap imprint
FIRST KUT.
“The world lost a guiding light when the flame of life went out of Tupac,"
KENT President
Morey Alexander said via a press release statement.
Last month, Tupac was honored in a different form, as
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled its exclusive new
Tupac Eternal exhibit.
