Beyonce Confronted by PETA Members Over Fur Use

However, Beyonce had no idea that the winners of the auction were in fact PETA members, with a message for the R&B diva. right The dinner was running smooth, until everyone placed their orders. At that point, the PETA members pulled out and placed a portable DVD player on the dinner table. They began playing Pamela Anderson’s protest of the fur industry, which shows graphic details of the process of killing animals for their fur. Reportedly, Beyonce, who was joined at the table by her mother Tina and her sister Solange, took offense to the PETA members presenting her with that DVD at that particular time. However, allegedly Beyonce’s mother asked the PETA members to leave and they were escorted out of the restaurant. B and her family stayed to finish their dinner. PETA members wanted to have a word with Beyonce, after learning that her upcoming fashion line, the House of Derrion, includes fur items.

In related news, on Sept. 4 (Beyonce's 25th Birthday), she will release her aptly-titled new album, B'Day.
