Busta Rhymes' Ex Speaks

Joanne Wood, Busta’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of their three sons, told The New York Post that she believes that Busta doesn’t hate her because she’s a bad mother, but instead because he can’t accept the fact that she chose another woman over him. Although, Wood says she never cheated on Busta with a female, she is quick to point out that the rapper could learn a lot from lesbians, especially the “man-bitch lesbians,” as Busta refers to them as. After recently gaining custody of his three sons, Busta took the time out on a New York City radio station to publicly express his feelings about Wood. “No more child support check for you, broad. Worthless baby mother,” Busta said live on the air on Power 105.1, a day before his The Big Bang album dropped. right Still, despite his comments, Wood believes that instead of publicly putting her down, Busta should focus on their children and his music. “Honestly, the kids are the one that got hurt through this entire ordeal,” Wood told The Post. “My kids can read, they can see the negativity that he’s saying about me. He needs to focus on his music and hope that his album goes double platinum or whatever, because you know at this point in his career, if you don’t make it now, that’s it.” Wood currently is allowed to see her children twice a week and every other weekend, as part of her visitation rights.
