Prosecutors Want C-Murder Back in Jail

Email this article Print this article Send us a tip

According to The Associated Press, prosecutors filed a motion Thursday (June 8) that says C-Murder violated the terms of his house arrest. The probation violations include coming home late from a court-authorized trip, going to a drive-in restaurant and being out of range from his electronic tracking equipment. In March, a judge tossed the rapper’s second-degree murder charge stemming from a fatal Jan. 2002 shooting. Since then, C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, has been under house arrest and a $500,000 bond. right After finding that prosecutors incorrectly kept information about the criminal backgrounds of key witnesses, Miller was granted a new trial. C-Murder dropped his last album, The Truest $#!@ I Ever Said, last year. His new compilation, The Tru Story: Continued, has a tentative release date of Aug. 22 on Koch Records.
