RL of Next Reps G-Unit, Disses 112 and Jagged Edge

On, “Hater In You,” a song making its rounds on the Internet, RL directly disses other R&B groups like 112 and Jagged Edge and apparently claims an allegiance to DJ Whoo Kid and the G-Unit. RL sings the song over the instrumental to Destiny’s Child’s, “Cater 2 U.” “Ain’t nothing new/ain’t helping you/we roll with Whoo Kid/what are you doing?” RL asks 112 and Jagged Edge on the track, before singing out the popular roll call phrase of, “G-G-G-G-G-Unit.” RL explains how he took offense to alleged rumors of Next no longer being an R&B group. right Later, while the instrumental of the track begins to wind down, a serious RL warns 112 and Jagged Edge that Next is taking over the R&B group scene. “Ya see, y’all ni**as stick to dancing and back flips and sh*t and lip singing. Leave the real singing to us real ni**as,” says RL on the track. “I’m talking to all y’all ni**as out there. I don’t care if 112, Jagged or any ni**a hears this. I feel y’all ni**as, but y’all ni**as better step your game up. “We fucking coming. It’s over.” Although this track may add to already heavy rumors that Next has signed with G-Unit, an official announcement has not been made as of press time.

This IS a little petty. It is enough to see R&B beefs when a new beef comes up with rap artists every other week. But from what I saw in concert, some of the members of 112 come across as arrogant. I could be speaking of the wrong group but I doubt it. Still, it would be good if all these people set aside their egos since they "ARE" getting paid.

This is bullshit to me. It's rediculous cuz all 3 of them. Next, 112 and J.E were the stars of the RnB side of the industry. So why diss fellow singers? It seems as if soon as people join G-Unit they think they hard. But if they signed to Death Row (many yrs b4) they would be running for their life. R.L is an R&B singer if he wanted to get all hard and shit he should've chose to be a rapper cuz you don't see Ciara dissing Beyonce or nothing like that. Well at least not going that hard. IT AINT THAT SERIOUS You're making money they making money leave it alone DAMN!!

His vocabulary is weak. I am not one of those angry black women who despise the word "n*gg!", but come on. He sounds like one of those "wanna be hards". Next and G-Unit. Okay. We'll see.

What happened to the man who used to put a young teenagers mind on the fast track to esctasy? I loved R.L. and the group Next. Yes, I agree that the promotion on them sucked. Yes, I agree that people slept on their skills. However, don't lash out on someone else just because it seems as if you had reached the end of your success road. R.L. I love you baby but you need to step right. You grown, you got kids, and you have been married. Its time to stop playing and fall back on something else. You can still be in the music game without actually singing. Why don't you just write songs or produce? Or better yet...instead of lashing out at 112 and Jagged Edge, you need to be asking them for help on a new album. Forget G-Unit, stick with the real R&B like Joe.

Next has always been a talented R&B group. Their "gutta-like" lyrics has received more attention than most of these superficial R&B recording artists. RL is very underrated. He proved to a lot of people back in 1997 that he could carry himself and two others from Minneapolis to the top of the Billboard charts. "Too Close" and "Butta Love" was certified Gold.

The combination of R&B and explicit lyrics may not sit well for some...With Next: It's just a way to keep it real and 'hood.

Gracious, I thought this was supposivly just a game. I can't believe they teamed up with G-unit. And then there gonna have beef with 112. I mean, I get the 112 thing, they think they're everything. I stumbled upon this trying to search for the answer of what Bow Wow did to one of the Cherish girls. I wish I never did, but I am glad that I see this. I have something to say... what has happened to this kind of music? I mean, now G-unit has a singing group. UH, no. He supposivly is a hater on someone, talkin about all this paper. Why don't he just shut the hell up on the last part, bringin up drama. This all leads to jumpin some one and I am gonna LAUGH when one of NEXT get whooped. hahaha i'm laughin now.

Don't know much bout 112 any more they are to boys2menISH jagged edge is like mad old and only one cat can actually sing from the group and they do lip there backup vocals I've seen it. Next had RL and the Big guy that had skill they remind me of Jodeci my favorite male r&b group.. Next says they're next they should team up with another hard core r&b group from Houston called Jadn Rush its four of them two light two dark and all of them can sing they remind me of Jodeci www.jadnrush.com. When does Next come back the best groups are
Dru Hill Next H-town Jodeci Jadn Rush B2k even though they can't sing

Okay RL and Next, are way to talented for this gutter type dis. Look RL is fine and can sing his ass off but don't prove that with this kinda pettiness it's years later show them that you are better with what you do and how you do it. Leave all that dissin' and smack talkin to the rappers. RL's voice is so amazing and so sexy he just kinda sounds like a kid and not a grown man coming with this type of crap 112 and Jagged Edge are doing what they do so Next get in the mix and prove it in your work not this BS - You feel me? Be better than the average this kinda things is benieth all of you.
