YoungBloodZ Arrested on Marijuana and Firearms Possession
The YoungBloodZ, who were headed to a concert on their tour bus, were pulled over due to the vehicle’s expired Florida tag.
"When I made contact with the driver, I was immediately hit with the odor of burning marijuana coming out of the vehicle," Clinton Reynolds, of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, said. "I told the driver I smelled marijuana, and I called for backup units."
Officers searching the bus found approximately half a pound of marijuana spread in 11 plastic baggies hidden throughout the vehicle, including in a vacuum cleaner bag and tissue box. Officers then found two firearms under two mattresses on the bus as well.
right J-Bo and Sean Paul of the YoungBloodZ, along with their entourage, all posted bail on Friday afternoon (June 2).
A spokesperson for the group’s label, Jive, said that the YoungBloodZ “never had any trouble with the law, are completely innocent and will be exonerated from these charges."
