Beyonce Gets Kissing Lessons
Knowles, a relatively new actor, admits that she was a bit lost when it came time to filming a kissing scene with co-star Jamie Foxx. So she enlisted the help of her acting coach to make the on-screen kiss as realistic as possible.
right “I’m a singer/songwriter, that’s what I did first—I didn’t start out going to acting classes and people-kissing classes. So that’s all still new to me,” said Knowles, according to Ananova, a British news service.
Though Jamie Foxx is rumored to have teased Beyonce a bit during the filming of the movie, Knowles maintains that he was “very professional” during the kiss.
In Dreamgirls, Knowles plays Deena Jones, a rags-to-riches singer, while Foxx plays Deena’s shady manager Curtis Taylor, Jr.
