Janet Jackson Asks Fans to Create Art For New Album

According to Billboard.com, beginning today on Yahoo! Music fans can download 33 images of Jackson to use as parts of their own created covers. Jackson is then scheduled to personally choose four finalists, whose album art will appear on selected publicly distributed copies of 20 Years Old. right Jackson’s aptly-titled 20 Years Old marks two decades after the superstar and pop icon’s release of Control. The highly-anticipated 20 Years Old album is slated for a Sept. 26 release. Producers of the set include Jackson’s core collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. In April, Mariah Carey also expressed interest in doing a collaboration with Jackson for 20 Years Old.

Jackson’s single “Call on Me” features St. Louis superstar rapper Nelly.
