Now, seven years later,
Lil Scrappy has decided to put out a sequel to 50’s, “How to Rob” and he promises every MC in the game is going to catch heat.
"I'm jacking everybody," Scrappy, an honorary
G-Unit member, told
MTV.com. "Even 50 and
[Lil] Jon — they getting it too. At first I wasn't into talking about anybody, but I remember back in the day when a n---a ain't had nothing. He would do anything to get a little paper. I want to be where real hip hop is. A lot of people say hip hop is dead. Well, I'mma kill it for 'em.”
Fans that are eager to get a taste of the kind of venom Scrappy is about to spew can simply look back at 50’s original, “How to Rob,” where he jacked the likes of
Diddy,
Bobby Brown,
DMX and
Busta Rhymes.
right 50 also offered memorable lines like, “Run up on
Timbaland and
Missy with the pound/Like you gimme the cash and you put the hot dog down” and later, “Caught
Juvenile for his
Cash Money piece/Told him I want it all he said, "Even my gold teeth?"
Though Scrappy may decide to put his version of "How to Rob" on a mixtape, his
Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live album is scheduled to drop in late September.
