Usher is coming off the monumental success of his last album Confessions, which moved over 15 million units worldwide. He also has a budding acting career in television and film and has recently purchased a stake of the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team. right Barry Weissler, one of the producers of Chicago, is more than excited to have Usher and his massive following, be part of his wildly successful musical. "We could not be happier to have such a major star of the music world bring his talent to our show,” says Weisler. “His amazing presence and voice will certainly make a most impressive Billy Flynn and will establish him as a force on Broadway. Everyone connected with Chicago is looking forward to Usher's engagement and we welcome him to his new Broadway family." Usher follows stars like Wayne Brady, Brooke Shields and Melanie Griffith, who have all starred in Chicago.
