The tour, which begins September 9 in Krakow, Poland, will be taped for the MTV documentary Diary of Jay-Z: Water For Life, which will premier November 24 on the network, reports billboard.com "In the beginning, when I was going out on a world tour, I was going out to play music," Jay Z said earlier this month, according to Billboard. "But I said to myself, I can't go to these places I've been and not go out and see the people that have been touched by my music for over 10 years. From that morphed, 'Well, I'm not just going to go over there and rap to them.' I'm going to help and see what I can do in these areas." Before launching his first ever world tour, however, Jay-Z will perform at the Fashion Rocks concert in New York on September 7 and throw his lady, Beyonce, a huge B’day bash at his NYC 40/40 Club.
