Jones, best known for her role as the self-indulgent Toni Childs on the UPN hit (now CW) Girlfriends, plays timid wife Tanya Diggs, who enters into a killing spree with her husband, played by the director of the film, Kenny Young. As one tries to stop with the murders, the other moves swiftly forward, putting their love to the test.
left Joe Torry, Snoop Dogg and Bishop Magic Don Juan also make appearances in the film.
“Kenny has been amazing,” Jones said exclusively to vibe.com about her first film experience. “It’s just so awesome when you work with a director who’s also an actor. He understands what you’re (as an actor) trying to accomplish.”
Jones left Girlfriends, a popular series profiling the lives, loves and friendships of four African American women living in Los Angeles. After six seasons, Jones stunned Girlfriend fans by deciding not to return to the series for the seventh season.
Redrum is scheduled for release in 2007.

glad to see Jill Jones may finally have a new (decent) agent. Sad to see that Bishop Don Juan hasn't been convicted for multiple rapes yet. Ask him about the 18 year old girl that gave him that scar on his left cheek while he attempted to rape her. From what I heard from many people she wasn't the first victim of that sicko.
