Lil' Wayne Arrested On Drug Possession

right "He was arrested at 371 17 street NW, apt. # 402 for Possession of Marijuana," Georgia's Fulton County Sgt. Kevin Iosty told Vibe.com. "He is also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance for violation of Georgia's controlled substance act and for possessing a narcotic that was not his, a prescription medication that was found in his belongings. "He was taken to the Fulton County jail at about 5:10pm." When asked what sparked the search, Sgt. Iosty said, "We were called in by maintenance personnel. They went in the apartment to perform maintenance, and while they were in there they discovered the marijuana was laid out in plain view." The 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, was allegedly released on $11,000.00 bond a few hours later.
