Outkast Kills Break-Up Rumors
"N---as hit me in the street like, 'Yeah man, I heard the bad news. Sorry to hear about that,'” Andre told mtv.com. "I'm like 'Man, what are you talking about?' Everything is still tight, most definitely."
left Rumors about the group’s breakup have been flying around everywhere from the magazines to streets, most recently ignited by the artists’ choice to drop two separate songs and videos off their upcoming soundtrack album Idlewild, leaving folks to wonder, is this a sharp strategy for a highly anticipated comeback?
"We're holding it under wraps," continues Andre. "We want to keep it on the low so expectations won't be a certain way. But we're still doing music."
Regardless of Dre’s public declaration that he remains a part of the legendary duo, he says there are still no plans for Outkast to tour or even perform together live.
