Pop Singer Pink Defends Hip Hop
According to StarPulse.com, in June, the Conservative Party leader implied that the rap music played by BBC Radio 1 clearly encourages people to tote weapons.
right "I would say to Radio 1, do you realize that some of the stuff you play on Saturday nights encourages people to carry guns and knives?” said Mr. Cameron during a "British Society of Magazine Editors" event, according to the BBC News website.
The rosy-haired singer is heated, convinced that the ignorance that existed about music years ago has not faded. She compares the politician’s outburst to the criticism of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles early in their careers.
"I'd love to know what he is basing that on. That's not the way to get to kids. It's an easy stereotype - almost too easy,” she said, as reported in StarPulse.
