Prince Slated for Super Bowl Halftime Show, Diddy and Cassie To Play NFL Kickoff

The Super Bowl, which airs February 7, 2007, will be played at Miami’s Dolphin Stadium. Cirque de Soliel is scheduled to provide the pre-game entertainment. right In other NFL-related news, Sean “Diddy” Combs and his Bad Boy artist Cassie are among those tapped to perform during the NFL’s “Opening Kickoff Celebration” on September 7. The celebration, which will air on NBC, also stars country act Rascal Flatts — who will play on Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, the site of the NFL’s first match up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. Diddy and Cassie will perform their free concert on 7th Street in Miami’s South Beach. Martina McBride will sing the national anthem. Have a news tip? Email us.
