New Brandy Television Show In The Works
According to an entry on imdb.com, TV writer and Girlfriends creator Mara Brock Akil is developing an as-yet-untitled project for the singer. The plot outline for the show involves a “young New Yorker” who “moves to Los Angeles to work as an entertainment editor.”
left This won’t be Akil’s first time collaborating with Brandy for television—she previously worked as a writer on the singer’s UPN show Moesha.
And Brandy is no stranger to television herself. After playing it low key following the end of Moesha in 2001, the singer has recently been making the rounds on several shows. She had a recurring guest spot on UPN’s One on One last season, was a guest host on The View, and sat as a judge on the summer series America’s Got Talent.
Brandy is currently working on her fifth studio album, which is schedule for an early 2007 release. In the meantime, new Brandy vocals can be heard on Diddy’s new album, Press Play, which drops October 3.
