will.i.am To Step Into Spotlight With Solo Album
"[Interscope co-chairman] Jimmy [Iovine] wants to put it out in December," Will.i.am tells Billboard. "If not, they'll shoot for the beginning of next year. Right now I'm just writing a whole bunch of songs that can easily be rendered and manipulated in any type of direction once they are written. I have to push the envelope, [but] not too far [and] not just for the sake of pushing it."
Will is also hustling to support his peers in the industry, working on the Game’s sophomore effort, entitled Doctor’s Advocate, due out November 14th on Interscope, as well as Snoop Dogg and Nas’ new albums.
