Jadakiss Arrested on Gun Charges
right According to the Associated Press, Jadakiss, aka Jason Phillips, was one of four people in a car searched by authorities around 4:30 am., in which they found a loaded handgun.
Jadakiss, 31, and the other three passengers were charged with criminal possession of a loaded handgun.
Jadakiss released his first solo album, Kiss the Game Goodbye, in 2001. His most recent album was Kiss of Death, and he had a hit single "U Make Me Wanna" that featured singer Mariah Carey.
In July 2004, he was arrested on marijuana and gun possession charges in North Carolina. Police said they found less than an ounce of marijuana and two loaded .45-caliber pistols in his vehicle.
In March of 2005, the rapper reached a plea agreement with authorities on the misdemeanor charges, paid a $900 fine, and was given deferred prosecution. He was also ordered to submit to searches and random drug tests.
