Jennifer Lopez Sued For Overdue Private Jet Payments

According to the Associated Press, Avjet Corp., based in Burbank, Calif., sued Lopez Wednesday in Los Angeles for nearly $35,000. right The company claimed Lopez had not paid for two flights on Gulfstream jets from Farmingdale, N.Y., one to Puerto Rico on Jan. 26, and another to Burbank on May 25. According to the lawsuit, each flight cost about $16,000 and the bill totaled $34,241 with interest. An invoice listed Marco Muniz - known more popularly as Marc Anthony, Lopez's husband - and Lopez under the name Jennifer Muniz, as passengers along with four other guests. Lopez’s attorney declined to comment. Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are currently co-stars in El Cantante, a biopic of salsa legend Hector Lavoe that first premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last month.
