Ludacris Takes Number One Spot on Singles Charts, Outsells Timberlake

Ludacris' "Money Maker" featuring Pharrell jumped one place to claim the number one spot, swapping places with Timberlake's "SexyBack." Timberlake's new single "My Love" featuring rapper T.I. jumped five places to No. 8. right "My Love" is the fourth top 10 hit for Timberlake and also the fourth top 10 hit for T.I. Timberlake is the first artist to have two hits in the top 10 at the same time since Rihanna did it in June with "SOS" at No. 7 and "Unfaithful" at No. 9. Others on the charts include R&B singer Akon's "Smack That" featuring Eminem, who's held the number 4 spot since last week, the No. 7 spot with JoJo's "Too Little Too Late," and Jibbs' "Chain Hang Low," which dropped two to No. 9. Lady Sovereign's "Love Me or Hate Me" also made the list, and was the top debut at No. 81. Ludacris' Release Therapy hit stores on September 26th, 2006.
